In the shadowy corners of London, amidst the chaos of a world in turmoil, Eihort emerged - a dark convergence of restless souls.
It was in the cursed year of 2020 that Hellishdust and A., two figures steeped in the arcane, decided to channel their creative malevolence into something far more sinister. Having crossed paths in various other sonic endeavours, their bond was forged in the fires of past collaborations, but this time, they sought to summon something darker, something profound.
As the duo delved deeper into their sonic abyss, the need for a more powerful ritual arose. They summoned their ally, Joe Burwood, a master of percussive onslaughts, to lay down the primal rhythms that would anchor their debut offering, Consuming The Light. This unholy work, drenched in malevolent energy and otherworldly atmosphere, was unleashed upon the world through Underground KVLT Records, an infernal branch of Odium Records, on CD and cassette - courtesy of the cryptic Audiomiasma.
The response was immediate and overwhelming, a call from the void that could not be ignored. Buoyed by the dark forces at play, Eihort sought to extend their influence beyond the confines of the studio. The decision was made to expand their ranks, and thus the current incarnation of Eihort was born - a gathering of souls bound by a shared vision of sonic darkness.
The current lineup that now commands Eihort’s unholy rites includes:
- Hellishdust - Vocals, the harbinger of despair
- A. - Guitars, the architect of riffs from the void
- Baaltzer - Drums, the hammer of the abyss
- S.W. - Guitars, the conjurer of harmonic darkness
- MK - Bass, the foundation of malevolent frequencies
Eihort has since taken their ritual to the stage, enthralling audiences with performances that echo the raw power and intensity of their recordings. Their journey is far from over; the band now descends even further into the abyss, crafting new incantations that will push the boundaries of their sound into uncharted darkness.
