Necrocraft Classics 02 - H.P. Lovecraft - The Case of Charles Dexter Ward
Synopsis
NECROCRAFT CLASSICS — The Case of Charles Dexter Ward
Based on the story by H. P. Lovecraft
Some family histories should remain buried.
In Providence, a young man's fascination with his ancestry draws him towards Joseph Curwen: an elusive figure whose life ended centuries ago, but whose secrets refuse to stay in the past. Old portraits, private letters and forbidden experiments turn Charles Dexter Ward's research into an obsession that begins to change everything around him.
As his family grows increasingly uneasy, Dr Willett follows a trail of unsettling discoveries towards a truth that threatens far more than Charles's sanity.
A colour comic adaptation of Lovecraft's tale of obsession, identity and the dangerous pursuit of knowledge, brought to life through atmospheric period settings and a slow descent into the unknown.
