ABOUT ME & THIS WEBSITE
Hi, I’m Hellishdust. I’m originally from Poland and now based in London.
Music has been part of my life for more than twenty years. Much of that time has been spent in the underground—writing lyrics, recording vocals, playing with different bands and making artwork. My projects over the years include Eihort, Kira, Abused Majesty, Skullthrone, Cursed Æon, Bloodpaint, Edgecrusher, Crusm and The Growling Stones. Each has its own story and represents a different part of my life.
The visual side has always been part of it too. Alongside creating artwork for my own projects, I’ve worked with bands including Black Altar, Kirkebrann, Likheim, Markiz de Sade, Perunwit and Serpents Oath, among others. I enjoy bringing music and imagery together, finding a visual language that feels right for each project.
Outside music, I work in graphic and web design. I also make videos, develop horror stories and explore different ways of bringing my ideas to life. Some of those stories have found a home in NECROCRAFT COMICS, another part of this website.
For years, I’ve also been a Keeper of Arcane Lore in the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game, guiding players through mysteries and watching their carefully made plans fall apart. Other games, books and occultism are passions of mine too. I enjoy getting lost in a good story, exploring unfamiliar ideas and creating worlds that other people can step into. You’ll probably recognise traces of those interests throughout this site.
WHY A LABYRINTH?
I wanted somewhere to bring all this work together, including older material that might otherwise stay buried in forgotten folders. I also liked the idea of making a website you could explore, where discovering what’s around the next corner becomes part of the experience.
The first labyrinth has been buried. In its place, I built ARBOR INFERORUM — The Hellishdust Necropolis. This is the second labyrinth to inhabit the site. Who knows whether it will be the last…
It gives my musical projects their own places within one shared world, connected by streets, passages and unexpected turns. The bands, recordings and personal history are real; the necropolis is the setting I imagined for them.
As you move between districts, you can discover the projects, explore their releases and listen to the music. But there is more here than the main routes reveal. Hidden passages lead to secret pages about occult literature, mythology and other subjects that have caught my interest over the years.
Can you find them all?
THE OCCULT LIBRARY
Somewhere within the necropolis lies the Occult Library, a collection of texts and explorations of occult and esoteric traditions.
Its entrance is hidden, and a password protects what lies beyond it. The password itself is written on one of the labyrinth’s walls. You may walk past it without noticing, so pay attention to your surroundings.
Can you find the entrance—and the word that opens it?
Take your time. You don’t need to see everything in one visit.
HOW I BUILT IT
I built the entire website, including this second labyrinth, from scratch in Wix Studio. The concept, structure, routes and original content are my own.
The labyrinth’s scenery and environmental graphics were generated using AI, following my ideas and instructions. I then edited and refined those images in Photoshop to fit the atmosphere and the practical needs of each scene.
Putting it all together involved designing the pages, connecting the locations and testing how everything worked on desktop and mobile. I decided how the places should look, how they connect and what you discover along the way.
I want to be open about that process. AI helped me create images of the world I had in mind, while Photoshop and Wix Studio gave me the tools to shape those images into a place you can explore.
STILL GROWING
Hellishdust.com is a personal project that brings together music, artwork, comics and stories from different stages of my life. Some of it goes back many years; some is still taking shape.
I’ll keep adding new work and older discoveries as they find their place here. There are still recordings to share, stories to tell and corners of this world to build.
Thanks for stopping by and spending some time here. I hope you find something that stays with you.
