How It All Started
Bloodpaint hails from Dąbrowa Białostocka in Poland. Originally formed under the name Antares, the band was active from 1997 until 2000, when they rebranded as Bloodpaint. Under this new name, the band released two official albums: "ENS" (2002) and "Blinded" (2004), featuring vocals by Hellishdust.
I joined Bloodpaint in 2004 to record vocals for "Blinded" after their original vocalist was unexpectedly drafted into the Polish army just before the recording sessions.
The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Selani Studio in Olsztyn, Poland, in April 2004. It was an intense yet unforgettable experience, filled with camaraderie and great memories, including nights spent at friends' houses in Olsztyn. Unfortunately, Pulpet left the band shortly after the album was completed.
In 2007, we made a cover of Satyricon, which was recorded, mixed and mastered at Studio X by great sound engineer Szymon Czech (RIP). However, it was never officially released.
We played a few gigs, but our time together was brief, as Maestro also had to step away due to family commitments.
You can listen to both of the records at the link below:

"Blinded" was released on CD by Metal Jeers Productions as a split with Effect Murder. The release was titled "Effect Murder / Bloodpaint: Imanusi / Blinded".
After I left the band, they continued with a new lineup, with Długi being the only remaining original member.
Unfortunately, we've lost touch over the years...
