A void that caused darkness.

In October 1998, amidst the shadows of Białystok, a force was unleashed - a band forged from the darkened souls of drummer Icanraz Sarnacki and guitarists Socaris (Orrmuhs) and Lucas. Soon, they were joined by the haunting vocals of Khopik and the brooding bass of Wierzba.

By January 1999, they emerged from the abyss for their first live performance, setting the stage for what was to come. In August of that same year, they entered the legendary Hertz Studio, where they etched their first demo, "Thee I Worship," into the fabric of the underground. Four tracks of pure, unrelenting darkness.

In the year 2000, the void deepened as Gunnar (Hellishdust) took over vocal duties, Kojot claimed the bass, and Ghaez conjured haunting melodies on the keys. This incarnation of the band ventured once more into Hertz Studio in 2001, birthing the second demo, "Abused Majesty," a dark testament titled "Gods Are with Us."

But in 2002, the winds of change swept through the group. Hellishdust, Kojot and Łukasz departed, leaving a void filled by Marek "Maar" Przybyłowski and Halik. No longer bound to a single voice, the band chose to channel their energies through a trio of vocalists: Ghaez, Halik, and Maar.

As the dark year of 2003 drew to a close, the band began crafting their debut album, a work that would see the light - or rather, the darkness - in 2004. "Serpenthrone" emerged from the crypt, released by Empire Records and once again brought to life in Hertz Studio.

Yet, 2005 brought further departures. Socaris, Maar, and Ghaez all vanished into the night. In their place, Robert "Rob-D" Danielski took up the guitar, while Wacław "Vac-V" Borowiec joined as a session keyboardist. The darkness continued to spread with the release of the third demo, "Crusade for Immortality" in 2006.

By 2008, the band unleashed their second full-length album, "...So Man Created God in His Own Image," under the Empire Records banner, its cover painted by the hands of Greek artist Seth Siro Anton.

The shadows deepened further in 2011 when the band was forced into hiatus, with the departure of Rob-D and the expulsion of Icanraz.

But the darkness never fades. In 2014, the band rose again, resurrecting their original lineup and delivering the ominous "Somnambulism."

After 20 years, the void called Hellishdust back to the fold. His return marked the creation of the EP "Inner Consciousness," a whisper from the abyss.

In 2023, the band heralded the coming storm with the release of the first single from their upcoming album, "Proxima Inferni," accompanied by a darkly evocative lyric video for the track "Gha'agsheblah."

June 2023 saw the announcement of the album’s release, a ritual unveiled online through the prestigious Black Metal Promotion channel. Cover art was done by great Belial NecroArts. "Proxima Inferni" was cast into the world on cassette by Masters of Kaos Productions and on CD by Hellishdust’s own Unfathomable Veil Records.

The cover of "Proxima Inferni" is a haunting representation of the Qliphoth, the Tree of Death, embodying the shadowed realms that lie beyond the familiar Tree of Life. Much of the album's lyrical content delves deep into the esoteric and occult, drawing heavily from the dark mysticism of the Qliphoth, Draconian Satanism, and the teachings of Aleister Crowley. Each track is a journey through these arcane concepts, exploring the dark energies and hidden knowledge that reside within.

- Maar - Bass, Guitars

...To be continued.
